Discover Benidorm

Benidorm is the ideal place to spend a vacation. Just think about how much fun you will have. You can relax on the beach, and get a golden tan. You can leisurely explore the charming resort towns. You can play an exciting game of golf. You can discover Spain’s rich history and culture. You can party till the wee hours of the morning. There is indeed something for everyone to enjoy in Benidorm and the surrounding Costa Blanca region, one of the most popular destinations in Spain.

Getting to Benidorm

To reach Benidorm, you need to book a flight that will take you to the Alicante Airport. While Spain has several entry points, this is one of the most convenient access areas since it is within the Costa Blanca region. From the airport, you can take a shuttle, a bus, a cab, or the railway. Some hotels also have a pick-up service. Other tourists prefer to rent a car which they can use for the duration of their trip.

Finding a Place to Stay

Because of Benidorm’s popularity, the city has developed a number of tourist accommodations: hotels, apartments, condos, and even private homes that the owners rent out when they are not in the area.

Hotels are a good place to go to if you want the full service deluxe: room service, amenities, and the pampering that comes with the perfect vacation. However, if you are on a budget, and are traveling in large groups, then you may want to get an apartment instead. It’s more affordable since you don’t have to pay for all those hotel rooms, and they’re not as strict about headcounts. You can also cook your own meals which will save you a lot on restaurant prices.

Investing in Benidorm Property

Many tourists go to Benidorm and are so enamored by it that they decide to buy a holiday home. They know they can always go back to their own place there, and they can earn from renting it out to other visitors when they are away. After all, with the constant influx of tourists, there will always be a demand for affordable vacation rentals.

About

Benidorm is part of Spain's Costa Blanca region, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. It is found north east of Alicante (around 45 kilometers' drive) and is south of the Altea. Benidorm's beaches and cosmopolitan atmosphere (it has a skyscraper skyline that looks stunning at night) makes it famous for swimming by day, partying by night. And not even winter can dampen this paradise. Enclosed by mountains that stand up to 1558 metres high, Benidorm is shielded against the sometimes cold north winds. Thus, the weather is never harsh, and continues to be a favorite winter escape. In the summer, Benidorm transforms into one big party place. It has over a thousand restaurants, over thirty discos and bars. This is the night life that attracts thousands of visitors a year. They flock to the hotels, which have a total of over 35,000 beds. Or they rent out the apartments and other alternative vacation accommodations (numbering over 200,000). Some tourists have fallen in love with the place so much they actually bought their own properties there, and it has a flourishing British and Irish community.
